Well I think I've ruled out coolant at this point, my radiator is full and I'm not having any overheating isssues at all. But I'm going to get a chance to get it up on a lift tomorrow and at that point I'll check out a bunch of things from top and bottom.

Someone may have already mentioned this side note; but, once you get things figured out and fixed, you probably should replace your fan shroud to maximize cooling!

Just a friendly suggestion... :naughty:

Yeah I planned on it come spring, but it is very, very cold out this time of year around here and I was told I could probably wait a bit.

EDIT: It appears that this is my 50th post, thus allowing me to use the WTB section, look for a WTB: Fan shroud coming very soon.

Well I got a chance to check out my engine and things today, found the power steering leak, its down near the front end of the car like...I'm not sure how to describe where it is but I know where it is now. I didnt get a chance to check the CPS thing yet, but I will probably look at it tomorrow.

However today I did fix the clutch problem I don't think I told anyone about and I also chenged the oil. I'm not sure if its just me (probably is) but it seems to be running better now.

Also, I'm considering maybe getting an electric fan and removing the one thats on there now. Unless of course anyone objects to me getting an electric fan?

I'm not an expert, but everyone on here called me an idiot and locked my thread when I proposed taking off the fan shroud AND when I proposed getting electric fans lol. I guess the stock clutch fan is perfectly fine for fairly high power and cools the most effeciently out of mostly any other options.

Personally, I think that electric fans have their place. However, other than impressions that people have of "freer revving" and other effects that can be adequately described as placebo effect (That is, you expect it to be better, so it seems better) I've yet to see proof of actual improved performance using one.

I have, however, seen at least one case where there were electrical system problems introduced (Or at the very least excabberated) by the introduction of a large electrical load on the car.

We've always run them on the drag cars. They work in that application very well.

But never for a road course car.

As for the street, you can "get by" with them, but a mechanical fan is superior.
