can someone confirm if this is the MAP sensor

i have one yes but i'm not sure yet. it's the one on the top and it says turbo pressure sensor. a buddy who has a mkiv says he had a sensor on his that said that, but he no longer has the stock manifold. but i thought US spec had MAF and JDM had MAP. so why would both have the same sensor when the US 2jz has an additional MAF to go with it? i'm lost on this. i have no idea what a map sensor looks like. i tried looking at AEM sensors but they don't have any pics of it.

Yes, that is the map sensor. Its the one with the vacum nipple pointing straight down.

USDM 2JZ's have MAF sensor.. or you can call it an Air Flow Meter.. AFM.. etc.

Yep all the turbo MKIII 7mgte & 1jzgte have at least 1 map sensors for the boost gauge

All the mkiv with 2jzgte have 1 map sensor for the boost gauge also.

US 2jzgte are MAF ecu managed
JDM 2jzgte are MAP ecu managed

I know for a fact my JZA70 !JZGTE haves two map sensors the one that bolts onto the firewall next to the vin plate is the ECU map the other one is the boost gauge.

2JZGE has just the MAF in the US. obviously it doesn't have a MPA for the boost gauge as it is NOT turbo.
