Calling all windows xp gurus!

1.) I can't install service pack II because it says "access denied" after it gets done opening all the files. Im on the admin account on the computer. WTF!

2.) My internet (explorer, aim, aol, netscape etc) pauses for 30 seconds after I open up any new window or website. What gives?

First Mozilla, second, Log into the admin admin account.
not the username/admin.
try that first.

Thats what I did. Im in the admin account - the only one that can mod stuff

by default all updates are done thru ie.

Try loading in safe mode, and installing from there

thats true, u cant update with mozilla, but I said that so you would get mozilla cause its better than I.E.

do you have the authentic windows? i had a little issue to get service pack 2 because of my less than legit windows....but i got around it...if this is your case...let me know...cuz i know..
