Hey everyone, im starting back in school(community college) for a degree in business. Im thinking of pursuing either finance or banking, because i feel this is something i could be good at AND potentially go into business for myself as an advisor/accounts manager. My question is, does anybody have any experience in this field, and what did they learn that helped them the most? And 2nd, what is something good to study outside of school? like for example, books to read on financial/banking systems, etc. I would really like to go into it with a REAL head start after i have my associates degree. And also, does anybody know a way to get an internship that will actually work? Send out letters? call? I have no idea how that process works and my school doesnt offer much to do with that. Any help will be greatly appreciated, so thanks!
