Need some help on what to do. The motor has 2500 miles on it and started smoking. Every time I downshift or deccel hard it smokes. I am getting 30inchs of vac on deccel. I checked the compression on the cylinders and don't under stand them. Cylinder 2 had a bit of oil on the piston and i don't know if it was from when I took the spark plug out and maybe got a bit in the cylinder I don't know. At first I thought it was the turbo but now I am not sure. The car is my daily driver so I can't just take the head off and see whats going on and I don't know if a leak down test will tell me anything. Anyone have any input? I got a vid of the oil cap off right after driving it and it is smoking a bit.

^ first thing I thought of , you should also check the center valve/sparkplug cover for leaking oil .... but those compression numbers are concerning especially with the 25psi gap. The much higher pressure on cyl 2 could be from the oil in the cylinder, as oil has a tendency to seal better giving you higher pressure.

Ok well I did put on some china crap that I got in a ebay kit. There is no way to tell if one of the rings on piston number 2 is bad? I can take the head off and do new seals in one day just need to pick up some toyota ones.
