so i have exhausted my diagrams and braincells trying to figure out this f**kin wire. i am 90% done rebuilding after a full teardown that i wasnt part of. i have figured out a number of mystery wires but still dont have an answer on this one.
i have an 87t with a 7m, everything is connected but i have a stripped shielded brown wire that is approx 10-12ga. that doesnt seem to fit with anything. i figured it to be a ground but its shielded or knock sensor but those are grey and already plugged in? its the only thick brown wire in the main harness and comes out about midway down the fuel rail right where the TPS and CSI wires come out of the harness.
any help would be greatly appreciated, i can usually figure stuff out myself (hence the low post count) but short of taking the harness apart to chase the wire back...i was hoping someone might have a quick response. i have a pic of the wire but im at my shop right now and the pic is at home. thanks in advance
