Broken Driver Seat

I think one of the motors in my seat is bad... When I try to move my seat forward or back, only one side goes forward a little and then it binds up. The cloth is in good condition though.

Has anyone ever repaired this type of thing? I took a quick look at the bottom of the seat and I didn't feel like taking all of that apart. I could see the end cap thing is missing for the side that doesn't work.

Welcome to the world of 20 year old sports cars. I feel your pain on replacing broken things. Hell, all I want to do right now to my car is to just replace anything that's broken.

I had a similar problem with my seat recliner and the problem was simply dirty contacts in the switch, I took it apart, cleaned the contacts and it was good as new. Or the rack may have something stuck in it, you probably gonna have to take it apart and see.

i know my seat is broke but its the right wing closest to the console.....it doesn't move and makes me sit crooked as hell. it sux cuz its prolly on repairable. so i need a new one
