broken connector?

hey everyone recently me and my dad changed the head gasket and he broke a connector from somewhere below the intake manifold (or around that area) if i remember correctly. its brown and it is not a injector... any ideas? sorry about the very brief description i will take pics tomorrow. thanks for helping,
