I was thinking about my 6k timing retard (hit 6k and then feels like I hit a brick wall, until i get to 6500 then it clears up)
I was thinking about it more and more and today I realized that the Aristo AUTO on my real aristo pulls timing during shifts to make the shifts smooth and the tranny last. I was thinking that this is probably what is causing my break up/backfiring issue at 6k.
Does anyone know how the transmission knows to shift gears and when?
Does anyone else have this problem running an Aristo Auto ECU? ON a 5 spd car?
Any help is appreciated.... (damn I wish I still had my 1jz ecu so much easier)
