Brake master cyl rebuild kit question

Although I dont know what the difference is, the master cylinders are different from 90-92. To answer the question I would say it wouldnt work.

On the other hand your local NAPA store should be able to order you a remanufactured MC in pretty easliy.

For the non abs turbo cars you can get a reman'd for like 36 bucks or so after core (80 roughly total until core turn in), and a brand new one for around 80 as well as options.

Even at that it's cheap. $120 for a unit is not much, considering the original lasted over 20 years...

The brake master cylinder rebuild kit is less than $20 from any auto parts, $46ish from Toyota for the MKIV. Easy to install and I think the TRSM covers it. I have rebuilt brake master, clutch slave/master, cylinders and done them in less time than the trip to the auto parts.

Way back when I had a bad MC(and didn't trust myself with working on the brakes at the time) I called the repair shops and they were quoting me like $300 or more for the part, not just one but like 3 shops. I went to napa and bought it there for the above prices and found a shop to put it in for like 60 bucks.
