I took my car on the freeway today for the first time. (Finally got insurance:))

i got compressor surge, new HKS SSQV bov, vac line was 't' to fpr, then i changed it to the metal pipe under the intake manifold, it has good vac at idle, i hear it blow off but just before i hear the cha cha cha. the bov is right on the cold pipe after the intercooler, and vac line is like 3-4ft, where is a good place to get vac source for it???

second problem is the wastegate, i hit 15psi!! and still climbing, its a rebuilt 57 trim from driftmotion i thought it would be 8PSI i'm gonna call him in the morning and check my compressor to wg actuator line tomorrow.

please some help guys...i'm puzzled. its a NA-T if it makes a diff.

FPR should always have it's own dedicated line, don't T into it.

Stock turbo has a larger line coming off the front of the manifold that wraps down around the intake and back up over the engine to the BOV. It's the second largest vacuum line after the brake booster IIRC...

yah i took the t out of the fpr, and gave them both there owe dedicated lines but i still got some surge, i'm gonna put a custom fitting in the left had side of the intake manifold.. i'll take a pic and show you and tell you if that helped.thanks

well i figured out my waste gate problem, damn ebay downpipe flange was low enough that the little arm hit the flange and wouldn't open, pulled it off ground the shit out of it and now all good.

as for the bov i got its own dedicated lines from that fitting off the intake(the one your talking about poodles.) heres a pic, i'll take her for a ride in the morning when the jb weld sets up;) if that dont fix the surge i dont know what i'll do

wonder what the goes to on the N/A...

pretty well the same, power steering, fpr, and a vac canister i dont use. but i figured since i put a straight nipple on there it would greatly increase the speed the bov gets pressure and vacum.
