BOV problem

I have a Turbosmart 50mm Raceport BOV that doesn't seem to be opening early enough.(I can hear pressure releasing thru the air filter)
I was hoping someone might know at what in/hg the stock bov opens at and if I should try to match that with a lighter spring in the Turbosmart?

As far as I know, the stock BOV is open untill its on boost, then it closes to allow the system to presurise. If I remember correctly, the stock on is rated to 13 PSI.
I'd say try having your aftermarket BOV on the softest setting and seeing what happens. If it doesn't hold your boost pressure on the softest setting, stiffen it until it holds your desired pressure.
