Best car I ever had. This car and I had challenges. It was going through a lot of oil. Had a mechanic replace the head gasket and valves. Always did My best to keep it running its best. A few bonehead mistakes like pushing it off the front ramp after an oil change so I could get a better oil level reading when level. Big doors! Pushing it off, yeah….the door caught the riding lawnmower and bent the door backwards. Ha. Anyway, finally decided to restore the 7MGTE. New door and paint. I have just finished replacing the head bolts with ARPs, turbo, starter, clutch master cylinder and radiator. I’m retired now and have time to get-er-done.
