Dylan JZ;917942 said:rofl.. as much as I agree, the honest figure is anything _<18. stock twins dont smoke from boost, they smoke from blow by, coking and other such gayness. that's unfortunately the sad fact of CT12a's.. funny thing is even with those things absent, they still eventually blow the seals.
thats why as soon as you get your car, start saving for a nice single. I mean if I had to I'd throw my CT26 on there and its not upgraded, but at least its somewhat of a back up until I get my upgraded hx35.

Yeah, my dad is on his second ram. We are modifying it to get 505 hp and unbelievable tq right now.Dylan JZ;918119 said:what do you think powers the 5.9L cummins diesel in the dodge trucks
hx35 mwahaha, great turbo.. about the same as a gt35 though i hear the exhaust housing maybe a bit big. theyre made by holset..

But there is actually good info in there. When my twins blow, i'm going with a holset.
HAHA, yeah, one last great dyno!spipedong;918163 said:Well, if my truck is any indication of how long and how well the Holset turbos work I'm sold.
Almost temped to crank my twins up just to have an excuse to swap them for a Holset![]()
