No you can't. It would never work since there is 1: not enough pressure to even make it open, and 2: nothing worth venting between gears anyway. You can weld a flange on there with nothing open below it and make it look like you have one, but that is like buying a front wheel drive car and putting the wing on the trunk lid......Useless. Just my opinion though.
