So yesterday i decided to change my thermostat because it was from autozone. I got one from the toyota dealership. I put it in and everything runs fine. So my buddy rob with an turbo awd gsx comes and takes a look. Idunno why? Haha so he plays around with the throttle and keeps pressing the gas. Im standing behind my car, and i see white smoke that smelt like antifreeze coming out of the tail pipe!! Its like 75-80 degrees out side and its smokin'? Reaction: Dammit!!!! BHG!!! lol... My dad took it to a shop and did a leak test, and sure nuff,"sir, you might have a bhg.."so yeah long story short. I got a blown head gasket.... and bad news is, its been there for a good 6 months.

SO i decided to call the guy who did my swap. Nice gentlemen, probably in his mid 40's.

"Hey how's it going steve?"
"Everything is great here at the shop, ho are you?"
"Im good, except i just found out i have a blown head gasket!"
"Oh really? I could have probably told you that."
"Why is that steve?"
"WHen your Dad purchased the engine, we told him that it had a blown head-"
"WHAT?!!!!!:aigo: Are you kidding me!? My dad didn't bother to tell me!!! Its been freakin' 6 months since the swap!!! OMFG!!!!???!"
"Sorry about that redd..."

so yeah....
im completely depressed....

Tips for buying 7m.

1.) stock headgasket... replace

Its just something you need to do don't get depressed.

I would start doing it now before you warp the head or something although.

HA, I must be suicidal because My ride went down the first of last summer and is now being rebuilt.

Sounds like you need to have a talk with your old man. I think dads' do that $hit to find out how competant their kids have become.

Luckily you have detected it before any catastrophic damage has occurred.

Haha, yessir. Me and my dad have already had a stern talk. I told him that it was his fault for letting me drive around with it the first place, and he is a fault. Therefore, he has to pay for it!! LOl, oh well. Thats what my dad gets. Haha, He was thinkin about not fixin' it and getting me an EF hatch back. I was like, " NO way!!! I love my SuupRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! LOL SO what kind of headgasket should i get?
