I second the coolant pressure tester. The kind you rent at autozone will not fit our radiators.. but you can take a leak down tester or any kind of pump that you can control the pressure and hook up a hose to the rad overflow nipple.

Since I have experienced two leaks in a year at the waterpipe behind the exhaust I will suggest you look at that too. It can manifest as a very slow leak which evaporates once it hits the hot exhaust.
2 in a year and I have a case of waterpipe paranoia..lol, kind of like owning a 7m and thinking its always got a bhg.
