Hey everyone. So something weird happened yesterday.

Was cruising around and the car died on me. seems to lead to a bad alternator (fresh battery, held a charge great.)

But now the car won't turn. At all.

Got underneath with my 19mm socket on the crank pulley. Wont budge.

Tried to push start it. nothing. Thought it was the starter stuck out or something.
Pulled the starter off, still won't budge.

So the car is in neutral, starter removed, and the engine still won't budge at all.

Took the timing belt cover off, still nice and tight nothing funky there.

What the heck is goin on?

Edit: Also, took the spark plugs out, looked at the cylinders, all look great.

Sounds like it is seized up. Try spraying a bit of wd40 into the cylinders and see if that will free things up. Check your oil for water entry. Did u go through any deep puddles or heavy rain before it died? How abruptly did the car shut off?

When the car died, did it stop instantly, as though it locked up, or just stumble and die?
Was the car running hot at all, or any low oil pressure issues?
