Ive been looking into upgrading my stock turbo too. Current mods are:
Spearco Replica FMIC, Hardpipes, TT pump, 550 - lex afm, 3 inch turbo back no cats, apexi filter, safc (not installed), wideband and egt to come.
Ive decided that a CT upgrade is pretty much pointless unless yours is about to blow up, if your looking for 400+ hp that is. Im trying to stick with the stock manifold but thats where things get tricky. Do you want to stay with the stock manifold or go T4? Im debating between a SP61GT or a Boss Jr. 60-1 trim trip ball bearing. They both run about the same price and are entirely bolt on to the stock manifold. Price wise the Boss Jr. is roughly the same amount is triple ball bearing, where as the SP61GT isn't (unless you get the upgrade which is another 600$). I was trying to get a 1,000$ bolt on turbo, but now its about 1,500 range. Its all about what your really trying to do. Im aiming for 400 rwhp through my rebuilt A341. (My 89 supra came w/ a A341 i dont know why) Im still leaning towards the Boss Jr. though...
