Best Tires?

What are the best tires in terms of grip, handling and general summer high performance tire?

i'm using toyo proxy's and they grip great in all conditons until they get a little bald:icon_bigg

I'm liking my bfg KD's.. but got a GOOOOD deal on them.. wont pay 260 a tire.. i'd rather just have MT et street radials.. they wear kinda fast too.. i have maybe 3K miles on then and they are ~ 1/2 tread.. hard driving though..

Going to try some kumho mx's after.. or maybe some falken rt615 or wahtever they are


edit: oh.. i had good luck on Bridestone Re-030 or 040 (dont remember).. 235s and got consistant 2.0 60s on them... was only on a stock ct though.. 13.5s at 101-102

Cartel1; what Proxies? There are a bunch of different ones. I have only tried the Proxies 4 and they where THE CRAPPIEST tire I have EVER run. OMG I hated them so much

I have the Kuhmo MX on the way. I think for the price it is hard to beat

Those are good tires but any of the tires I listed will drive circles around ES100s. Those are performance street tires and not ultra high grip, max performance tire.

Anyone tried the BFG g-Force T/A KDW NT?

My favorite tire isn't being made anymore (Firestone Firehawk SZ50). I loved those tires. I went through 3 sets of them. They would take much more than I was comfortable giving them.

Good grip soggy turn in due to soft sidewalls.

yup but there grippy as hell but the side wall is just not up to par i think it wores then the 712's
