I'm having some trouble with my aristo swap. my battery light will not turn off. I have had the alternator check and its good. battery is good, I double checked the wiring, and that checks out good. I just cant figure it out! it did turn off once for a couple of starts, but now its back on. any help would be appreciated.

And the TSRM says to check the engine fuse (15A) on the drivers inside fuse panel.

Your pins are off.
Pin 1 on ALT is white (you have them going correct) (your calling pin 1 pin 3)
Pin 2 on ALT is Y-G (yellow with green stripe) should go to your charge light
Pin 3 on ALT is B-Y ( black with yellow stripe) should go to AM1 on engine fuse box. (your calling pin 3 pin 1)

looks like you have 2 and 3 reversed but to be sure read with a meter.

Son of ahhhh. I think you are right I was so worried about getting the wires correct, which they are. That I had not noticed that the plug was pinned wrong. I did pin that plug myself because the plug had cracked. Ill let you know later. Thanks for the help.

You were right! I pinned the damn plug wrong, all is good now. Time to get some insurance and get this one and a half year project on the road.
