I like that jump he did when he just randomely jumped up to grab another outcropping. That is actually crazy. Can you say oops I slipped?
yea i remember hearing that on a tv show they showed this guy climbing another rediculous wall. i think he died trying to break another record or somehting like that.

That is so crazy it makes my feet feel weird...finally a video that tops that guy who jumped out of a plane holding the parachute in his hands
yea, he was one of my idols the guy was the shit. I love rock climbing and he happened to be the best free climber out there.
and MDC is correct, cept the rope was old and it got cut on a rock, it was a free fall, kinda like zip lining, it was from like 400+ feet and it broke at like 250 i think so. it was a ways down when he hit.

I was at the Grand Canyon a couple years back, and did a bus tour of the edge. Talking to the tour guide, I discovered that every month, AT LEAST one tourist takes what they call the "13 second tour." He talked about it like it was no big deal, I guess they just get used to it after a few months.

It's not like they don't try to warn people ahead of time - there are signs all over the place saying "STAY AWAY FROM THE EDGE", and fences, and so on. While we were there my brother-in-law's girlfriend tripped and nearly went over the edge, 'cause she's too stupid to live.
