Bad master cylinder??

well im loosing brake fluid somewhere and i find anything under the car that looks like a leak, so i checked around the master cylinder and thats all dry too. so i look inside my car under the dash behind the carpet, and its a little wet but the paint isnt streaking or anything. im loosing quite a bit of fluid too, from max to min in the master cylinder in about two weeks.

are the master cylinders known to go bad?
anyone else with this happen to?

If your carpet is getting wet, you've got a seal inside the master cylinder thats gone bad, thats what happened to mine, you'll need to replace the whole master cylinder, not too hard to do.
