I haven't really worked on clutches before. I'm trying to determine if my clutch is bad. I hear a sort of grinding sound like the clutch disc is touching when I am just sitting there in neutral idling. And when I press in the clutch pedal the noise goes away. Would that mean that my clutch disc is touching the flywheel when idling in neutral? I just welded my motor mounts and transmission mounts solid so there is a lot of different noises now haha. At first I thought it was rod knock but then I pressed in the clutch and it stopped so probably not...
I have been drifting my car on the track this summer. And I guess almost 300hp with HKS 3 inch exhaust, Apexi intake, Greddy Profec B boost controller. I want to do some fuel upgrades too in the future. So if it is in fact my clutch what is a good clutch for me to buy? Something from Driftmotion?
