Well I swapped my ge to a gte and all I have done now is a lexus maf. When I hit 8-9 pounds for a few seconds it will make a loud pop, the check engine light will come on for about 3 seconds then it will shut off? I ran the codes and it is 51 and 34. I'm not sure if any of those has to do with the backfire?

51 could be from touching the gas while checking codes or having hte A/C switch on. The 34 is abnormal turbocharger pressure, meaning it's fuel cut more than likely. If it's happen at that low of a level, you have a huge boost leak. Also, the lexus AFM is not to be used alone, you'll go dangerously lean...

Cool, thankyou for the help, and I'm kinda new, but where would the boost leak be coming from the vacuum lines?
