I am currently having some issues with my 1J. After 6,000RPM it starts to backfire like crazy... Anyone has any idea what I could do or change. I'm currently running 20psi on a single turbo set-up.

• 2 coils have a few cracks in them, but they are all wrapped with electrical tape.
• Ignitor is fine.
• Wiring is all good.
• Running a set of NGK Iridium IX - Spark Plugs (BKR6EIX-11) - Gaped to .022

Any suggestions?

This is jz section. Jz coils crack at the bottom of the plastic down by the plugs.

Would the NGK 5553 (BKR6ES-11) work?

still a 6 heat range 7 is better they do make them

and you can get an 8 if you get a none Jis plug and go for an Iso it tad shorter but it does work

but an 7 will be good to go plug
