avondale mills on fire behind my house!!!!!!

so i just left work to evacuate my house.
theres an old avondale two blocks behind my house in sylacauga al.
I think it was hit by lightning.
everybodys safe cars and animals included.

this is what i saw from work.
i work about 5 miles from the house

the whole way home i was praying my car wasnt being burnt to a crisp.
my wife and kids werent home.

Thanks Justin, luckily it didn't get out of hand.
Apparently it was storing some highly flamable/explosive materials.

They couldn't put it out, it's was burning too hot.
So they just watched it and make sure it didn't get out of hand.

it was a textile mill, pretty much sylacauga was built around it and the marble quarry.
they closed in 2006 and shipped their operation over seas.
i think the building was over 100 years old.
my wife has some good pics and ill go take some of the remains.
