Auto to Manual tranny swap....

I will soon be undertaking this ambitious project and have 2 questions left unanswered.... I have an 88 turbo and have everything lined up to buy... Do I have to switch the driveshaft for the the R154? And is the differential I have off of the auto gonna work with the standard tranny... I have found nothing to tell me otherwise... but would like to double check with other supra junkies...

You will have to get another drive shaft, but your differential will be fine.

I have one lined up... but I believe its the front half.... do I need to replace the whole thing or just the half that goes into the tranny?

I can't remember to be honest with you, but logic would tell you it would be the front half since the transmissions are different lengths.

Yea to be honest with you I kinda realized it was a stupid question after I asked LOL sorry blonde moment.... I'm having trouble finding any threads on doing a tranny swap.... any pointers would be helpful :1zhelp:
