aternator issues...

did a search and didnt find what i was looking for.... seems that my car likes to eat alternators, i am going to be on my 4th 1 in under 2 years worth of driving time.... everything seems to be properly wired, i used the 1jz wiring to batt, the plug seems to be fine.. any suggestions?! good thing these are under warrenty! just sucks cause i just got the car back on the road and now this! on its maiden re-voyage

I had to make a alternator-to-battery wire for my swap.... What gauge did you run?

On my first supra (7m) the connections to the 100a fuseable link were loose and made me replace 3 alternators before i figured it out.

found a pinched wire, this maybe the issue for this alt, but i dunno if it is the cause of the others going bad too.... i am using the stock 1jz wiring
