My best friend/mechanic did all this.

He pulled out a portion of the console to get the shifter and such in. He's gonna look at the car today and I'll get this to him.

Thanks.

PS - It cant be the alternator right? I have lights, (also dash lights, lighting up all the numbers) but none of the other things. My battery DID go flat during this whole process by the way and was recharged.

PSPS - rear speed sensor is currently not conencted (mechanic fabricated a harness) could this cut out ALL that functionality?

Your alternator won't effect the dash lights. You've got a blown fuse somewhere. You could have shorted out a couple of wires and blown the fuse while doing this swap.

He meant disconnect the battery...you always should anytime you work on the car.

J/B #1...Left Kick Panel:

Parts assigned to power source (fuse):

Note all the electrical accessories powered by the Gauge Fuse...almost everything on the combination meter (dash) and includes power to close the Main Power Relay. That's what operates your windows...I'll bet your power seats and door locks don't work either. ;)

Like I said in post #3 above...check the 7.5A Gauge Fuse. I really wasn't flapping my gums (or guessing) here.
Checking all of them is not going to hurt either.

Hey, why the snide aside?

I was just thrilled it was a fuse because the car and I have been through rough times recently!

Not hard to figure out.
Good luck with your problem.
