I am in the process of buying the AZP BBK, I am also looking for new wheels.
I wanted to ask anyone using the 14.2" front brakes
what off set they are running on their wheels. The wheels I am looking at
are the Blitz Techno Speed Z1 18x8 or 18x9, The OZ SuperLeggera III-
same size options.

Do you have a "hook-up" for those OZ's, they are kinda pricey?

Kind of, the man that owns The Tire Rack is a good family friend. I have
bought 8 sets of wheels and tires from them, so when the time comes
to buy I'll see if I can't work some magic.

That is a funny thing about owning a Supra; especially when I'm reading
everyones build threads and am plagued with the I want that syndrome!
My wife also thinks the car is a money pit so sometimes things just show
up on it.

i like how its assumed he wouldnt be able to afford nice wheels cause he owns a mk3...

No, the only assumption I made was I would need have to have a "hook-up" to be able to afford and justify buying those wheels. That was why I asked. Come to find out he does. Hey, more power to him.

I have also been looking to get some 2 or 3 piece wheels, so I went the the tire rack to see what those wheels looked like and they are very nice and the tire rack puts them together for you with the offset and lip you desire, to a certain extent. All things for a price I guess. By the way, those wheels are right around 1k a piece. I would sure like to have a set if there was a "hook-up" to be had, wouldn't you?

That's how it goes at my house too.

Working a bunch of overtime right now and got a company fuel card for my gas.
Paying a couple of bills so I can rack them back up again, i.e. ARZ's BBK front and rear, and some flex's with edfc.

Wayne, I will let you know how it goes with my dealings with The Tire Rack.
If it is possible that I could set you up with the same deal I would be happy
to do so. I am sure that they would be happy to get a few sets of OZ,s
out in the public viewing area. They are really nice people and really
support the automotive community. That community is their life blood for
their business. I have found that what works for me is to always keep my
family first, then take my extras to play with my car. There has been many
seven day work weeks to support both causes.
Thanks, Fred

As matter of fact, this is my second 7 day work week in a row. Kinda getting used to it now, and it doesn't seem so bad come Thursday, payday.

Family first is always a must, gotta keep priorities in alignment. My extra money is about to be paying for college, my son will be a junior in high school in the fall. Trying to get it all done in the next 6 months or so. I will pm you my phone number so we can chat and compare notes on different things.

Thanks,

Wayne
