AR5 Trans speed sensor solution?

AR5 transmissions didn't have speed sensors unlike the R154's; I found this universal speed sensor kit that you can install on the driveshaft. Available in different diameters to suit the driveshaft's size. Could this be a solution? Speed on the tach may not be accurate but at least it is functioning.

Nope, you're going the wrong way. Supras need a mechanical speedo. I'm pretty sure I've seen a device that would convert a VSS signal into a motor drive for a speedo cable. I'm also pretty sure it was hundreds of dollars.
Your car is newer and probably has an electric speedo already. Might be easier than you think!
