Anyone know the stock flywheel specs for an 89 turbo supra

I wanted to know the weight and diameter of the flywheel for the 89 turbo
(r154). I think the weight is 12lbs but I am not sure. My dad is too damn old school, he wants to see id the flywheel from a 22r engine will fit the supra. Only because it could be lighter and we don't have money to buy a new one and who knows what else is in his mind.He only thought of this cuz back in his day he could swap the datsun 510 flywheel to the 240z because it was the same diameter and it was 3lbs lighter. Please keep all bad thoughts to ones self. If you have nothing nice to say then just don't say it at all. but all other comments are welcomed.

about 11.5" or 11.685" aprox at ring gear. around 22 lbs. R154 and w58 are different from each other.
the R254 is thiicker because of a deeper dished center for disk spring clearance.

it won't work...I've seen both flywheels from a turbo supra and a 22r....they won't accept the clutches....and a stck flywheel is in the mid 20 pound area.

tell your dad to keep his hands off your supra plain and simple!! Becides a heavy flywheel will assist you in building boost as it helps keep load on the motor...you will never notice a 2 pound difference in flywheel weight anyway...remember that a compleat flywheel is more that 20 pounds as it also has a 20 pound pressure plate bolted to it so unless you go with a much lighter flywhl you'll not even notice....keep the shadytree mechanic of a father away from your ride!
