Anyone know about linksys / comcast?

Ok, ive had this linksys BEFSR41 Ver 2. (4 port router)
and i just switched from SBC yahoo dsl to comcast yesterday.
it worked fine when i hooked it all up, but overnight it messed up
i reset everything and nothing works
then i called comcast they said just restart modem.
plugged in computer directly to modem, works fine.
so whats wrong with my router? it worked yesterday,
when i went into the settings (192.168.1.1), it was all reset because of me,
is there any settings i should mess with ?

Do a hard reset on your router. Check for the connection settings, if you had Yahoo there's a good chance you have it set to connect with a username and password via PPPoE directly from the router. This won't work with cable, change it to Automatic - DHCP. That should help a bit, if not, let me know.

...when you go to plug everything back in, do so in this order: cable modem, router, PC.

Reason for this would be that the router would have a better chance of setting itself towards the modem. Also, please be more descriptive as to what the problem is...you might get a better response.
