I have a 1987 turbo supra. I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with it for about a month and a half now. When I got it, it didn't even start. I got it to start about a month ago and I'm trying to get it to run right. Sometimes the car just dies right after I start it. Then after installing a new wiring harness the idle was all over the place. Now its back to starting and dying right after. I've tried adjusting the tps, replacing the iac, starting with the mas and tps unplugged, checked for boost leaks(might do again), replaced spark plugs and injectors, and nothing has worked yet. I could really use someone around St. Pete, FL who has a lot of knowledge with the mk3 electronics or help from someone on here. I'm willing to pay someone some money to fix it but just don't want to get ripped off from a mechanic. Please help!!! I wanna go fast :biglaugh:

You need to have the 3 main components of the combustion triangle. Air/fuel ratio, spark timing, and compression.
You get compression from the mechanical portion of the engine. Do you know if yours is good? And the engine must be timed right, or you will not have compression.
Spark timing, the CPS must be installed correctly. If it is, and the ignition system works, the the fuel system has "permission" to operate.
A fuel pressure gauge inline is a necessary check, but based on your symptoms, I don't think you have a volume problem.
I think you have an intake leak, or engine/cps timing is wrong.

I'll check on some of that stuff when I have time. Also I think the car is running very rich because it backfires a lot and sometimes when I keep the car on with the throttle it'll randomly go to 2k or even 3k by itself. Don't know if any of this will help.
I'm going to try a few more things and then I will probably try F&H performance. Thanks for the tip.
