Anyone good buddies with an admin on SF??

I'm really tired of my PMs getting annoyed. Been asking about advertising my cafepress store for about 8 months now. I got one reply months after my initial PM, and was told it's $75 a month to advertise.

I replied to them that I don't even make $75 a month with my store, that cafepress itself gets 95% of the money, so it's hardly advertising myself really. Asked them if they could make an exception due to that circumstance, but I never got a reply.

It would be really nice to show my stuff off there, especially since the Holiday season is here, and I have a blown engine and many bills to pay. Plus I just did a brand new mk4 design that I'm pretty happy with

So, does anyone know Artaxeras or Dusty personally and can talk to them for me??

That's a few hundred a month less than a lot of people pay... You got the cheapest rate I've ever heard from SF.

I know both David & Dusty quite well. I've done a lot of business with Dusty over the years, he's a decent guy, but he's first and foremost a businessman. I doubt you are going to get any "flexibilty" out of them. They have no reason to flex, they are, without a doubt, the #1 Supra forum out there when it comes to traffic volume. With more users than any other Supra specific forum by far. SM is pretty big, but it's still only 1/10th the size of SF when it comes to volume.

They've got the traffic to demand whatever rate they see fit.

I think you are barking up the wrong tree to be honest, and I really wouldn't even know how to broach the subject with Dusty.

SF isn't interested in "small" vendors.

They only charged me 60 for 3 months when I did my shirts... wtf is their deal now? 75 a month is outrageous.

your best bet is to call mvp and request to talk to david personally, he is a really nice guy, when he isnt being an sf admin!
