Anyone ever have a sticky throttle/gas pedal?

So all of a sudden yesterday, I notice that my gas pedal now sticks at the very top of the travel, just after the freeplay. I sprayed some wd-40 on the throttle mechanisims and it doesn't seem to have done anything. I love how this problem seems to have come out of nowhere. Anyone else ever have this issue? It really sucks because it sticks enough that it makes leaving a stop rather jerky.

Try cleaning the inside of the tb with some carb cleaner and a brush.

I had this problem and my cable was starting to fray and get stuck. I just shortened up the one in the NA car I swapped my motor into. Works preemo

definitely couldn't hurt, But when I looked at it I thought it felt like that little roller wheel on the throttle linkage at the tb wasn't rolling the way it should.

Thankfully my cables looked okay, but good info for the Supra memory bank
