Just curious if anyone is running 18 psi on pump gas with a piggy back safc. I just got my car dailed in 14psi but peaking at 16.6. My cheap boost cntroller wouldnt let me turn up the boost even though I turned it up a few clicks while doing a street tune then when I got on the freeway to go home the stupid thing would boost 16psi. Well it would peak at it.. going to switch my mbc.

I want to run 18psi since im running water/meth I should be fine.

Anyone with a similar setup running 18 or more psi and if so what problems do you have or experience here and there.

My car runs pretty good havent had any headaches...

i plan on doing a very similar set up, its too bad we are stuck with the 91 octane gas. if you live near sonoma race way (aka sears point, aka infineon) they have loads of choices for high octane gas at their sunoco pump.

how do you like the HX35? any plans to dyno?

Once I get home near the end of the month I will be installing my SAFC and finally tune my 2JZ. I have it set right now at 15psi low and I will be setting high boost around 22psi. I am running a 67mm single on there. Need to fix up the d/p though. I only run 93oct.

yeah i actually live just 20min. away tops. but the way gas prices are right now lol i'm scared to even get near that pump hahaha. nah, but the HX35 seems to be working good. boost comes on pretty strong like everyone says one min. barely any boos the other full boost haha. pulls pretty hard, but it needs to pull harder.. and whaever happened to the rest of the replies to this thread.. it had 2 pages now its down to 3 posts wtf?

their 100 octane is not that crazy expensive, they also have 94, 96, 98, 105 and 110 i believe. much cheaper than "real" race gas. I always get gas there when I do track days and its usually pretty similar to normal pump prices for 91 octane.

I ran a gt35r on my 1jz @ 18psi for over a year. I had an safcII with 650 injectors. This was on 93 octane. I wouldn't go any higher than that though.
Now I run 25psi with my 93 octane and 50/50 methanol injection with 750 injectors making about 640rwhp. I'm not on an safcII any more though.

i need a better boost controller so i can dial it in instead of just peeking at 16 and falling back to 14 :/ and my Auto trans is starting to slip on 3rd a little bit.. I can't wait to go single .. hopefully by summer time .
