Long story short, I'm a Marine Corps veteran who got medically retired (severance pay and monthly VA disability pay). When I got out in December 2007 I was rated at 20% service connected disability. Fast forward to today, everything I was rated for is in worse shape (especially my back) and now I also have problems with the right knee and left shoulder (back, right shoulder, and left knee were given ratings). I have an appointment next week to see my VA doctor and wanted to know how fast the VA was at processing your claim and to see if they increased your disability rating to a higher percentage. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
