The water connection on the valve broke off-has anyone repaired the stub water connection? or is it a replacement issue?

It's located on the right side of the firewall-I understand (from the forum) that you can adapt a Prizm heater valve Part #74850 for about $40 so I think I'm all set

Thanks for the offer but already ordered the Prizm valve. Do you have any other parts? Looking for a left rear 1/4 panel trim strip for an 87. Not sure if the same for other years.

Ill have to double check to see if my parts car has that moulding intact and without rust. I will let you know very soon.
Only the 89+ moldings are all plastic. The Pre-89 moldings have a metal backing that is susceptible to rust.
