After my first rebuild i dropped the motor back in and started it up fine,
had rod knock. Pulled the motor back out and it was just a rod cap on backwards.
Measurments are all fine now and no excessive wear.

Anyways i got ready to try and start it again and it wont even try to crank over.
Also my dash lights arent working. but every other light does. Ex: Key light circle, floorboard, headlights etc all work.

So i get under the car and make sure everything is hooked up right, everything was hooked up.
Starter is getting power, but also when i turn my key i dont even hear my fuel pump kick on?

Theres 2 wires by the starter that arent hooked up, 1 is a red clip that looks just like a red injector clipping and theres another small one.

Car is in neutral.

So my only other options i can think of is the clutch bypass wire isnt hooked up(I dont even know where it is?) or my starter is bad?

If its a 5 speed it will just run off the clutch safety switch. Auto will have a neutral safety switch from the gear selector on the side of the trans. You may want to check the fuses in the driver kick panel to see why your gauges don't work.
