Another alarm problem

hey guys i searched and found some good info. but i still cant get my alarm to disarm, i tried locking and unlocking, tried diconecting the battery, and i even took the theft deterent computer out and grounded the blue/ orange wire. and i still wont turn off?:aigo: what should i do? i grounded the wire to the steering column is that a good enough ground or should i ground somewhere else? thanks

test the ground with a multimeter or test light. here's a thread on it-

though, it sounds like you've done everything. grounding the blue wire with the orange tracer is only to make your starter work. without the theft deterrant computer in there, the alarm cannot function unless there's an aftermarket unit in there somewhere...

Another problem is the wire for the door key switch goes bad, then you cant disarm, try from the other door, I THINK that will work too, not sure tho, cant remember.

:wtf: it fixed its self, i took the battery out, came home from work and it was fine. anyway now that i took the theft deterent computer out and grounded that wire it should be fine right? anything else i should do? thanks for all the help guys, you rule.

if the theft deterrant computer is removed, it can't arm because there's no alarm in the car anymore...

with the blue/orange wire grounded and the theft deterrant ecu removed, you should be fine.
