I guess all good times have to come to an end eventually. I've 99.79% sure my headgasket has taken a dump on me. I've got all of the transitional signs - condensation on the dash, waterfall like sound behind the dash and a a liquid that suspiciously looks like water mixed with oil leaking from under the car.

I'm pretty damn pissed off, the guy sold it to me saying that the HG had been done 300 miles earlier. That's why I didn't bother going with the rod knocking 92 turbo I had seen earlier , because I thought this car would work

Sorry for the pretty much useless thread, but I felt like I needed to vent.

The HG job isnt too bad, a good way to get to know your car and replace a bunch of stuff along the way. Might as well just do it now and then youll know its done right and alot of preventative maintenance also taken care of.

Yeah hg job on the 7mge is cake. The GTE is a bit tougher to do because of the dumb turbo oil hardlines.

I'm not awfully sure if I'll be sticking with the GE, or even a 7M at all is it turns out to be the HG. Apparently the HG was changed about 100 miles ago by the guy I bought it from...

I'm being told it might be the heater matrix now.
