All too many times do we read or write about the crappy things that happen when dealing with vendors, that sometimes when something above the norm happens we are so relieved to have made it through the experience that nothing gets said. Let me share with you my latest purchase experience.
So it's time to start the upgrades. Fuel system seems like the best place to start, so I order up the full aeromotive afpr kit last week from SupraSport. The kit was shipped out promptly and it came in on Thursday as scheduled. I dance in through my front door after coming home from work in joyfull anticipation of playing with my shinny new toys only to open the box and find the gauge is missing from the kit. "CRAP!" is the "G" rated version of my response. I've been in the auto service biz going on twenty years and "stuff happens" I told myself, "I'll call them in the morning". So Friday morning at 6:45 am AZ time I pull up the website and call the phone number only to get a recording that boils down to "please e-mail us with any questions about your order". I had immediate visions of every bad experience that can happen with ordering parts online and with no other choice sent an e-mail off at 6:50 am.
Well, you could have knocked me over with a feather when my phone rang within 10 minutes of sending off my e-mail! It was Scott from SupraSport calling about my order. I explained the situation and without missing a beat Scott told me he knew what happend to the order and would send out my gauge that morning and I would see it the next day (Saturday no less).
So with tools in hand and car in the air I started my project Saturday morning around 9:00 am. By the time I had all the old parts off and was ready to start my install, up rolls UPS with my gauge (@ 10 am). A few minutes later my phone rings. It's Scott from SupraSport calling to make sure my gauge has arrived!
Well as stated before I've been around a while, and seldom do you see the level of customer service I received this past week. I would like to thank Scott and SupraSport for thier fantastic service. Keep up the good work!!
