Am I missing anything on the engine? With pics..

The engine is pretty much ready to be put in now, but I'm wondering if there is anything missing. The engine which is put together now had lots of parts missing.. and I've taken a lot from my 7MGE engine, so I'm therefor unsure if I've got everything I need on the new engine.


What I know of:
Bottom cover on gearbox
Brackets between gearbox and engine

It might be on there, but I can't see it. I think there's a 5/8 aluminum hose that runs behind the block. It starts under the intake somewhere and runs behind the block to the other side for a cooling line. It's been so long since I've taken the 7m apart that I could be imagining it.

1) EGR valve or blank off.

2) Clean the block grounding point.

3) What's up with the oil cooler line?

4) O2 sensor?

Third pic. Iirc it's that bolt hole just behind the AC compressor bracket.

The connection requires minimal voltage drop because starter current returns though it. Not only can it effect starter performance but whatever current is left behind will find another way to phone home. I've seen all sorts of melted things on cars with bad block grounds. Accelerator cables come to mind. In the worst cases they tend to catch fire...

whats up with the fuel line? did you just loop it so you didnt lose fuel?

Fuel and oil lines are looped to prevent dirt and such getting in there.

also, it looks like youre missing the motor to trans brackets. they bolt in right behind/on the motor mount

Not too sure really.. something to do with the vacuum. The thread is 3 weeks old so engine is in and swap is completed
