Altezza Shifter

Okay I was looking through the TRD catalog earlier and noticed that they make a shifter for the Altezza. Now if I remember correctly they use the R-154 trans. So wouldn't the shifter for them work with our R-154's?

Do they use the r-154 on the altezza/is300??????

N/A MKIVs use the W58, so the "Altezzas" probably do too, seeing as they share the same engine as the N/A MKIV.

ma70 supras use the w58 also, and a70 w58s and r154s use the same shifter.

despite this, w58s and r154s that came in other cars like the mkiv (w58) and 2jz IS's (w58?) use a different mechanism for the shifter. the dimensions dont match, and the shifters from those cars wont work with our transmissions.
