Alternate setup for stock throttle linkage options?

So is there any aftermarket or vendor that makes a different setup for are cars instead of this crap that streams over the vavle covers ?

or anyone custom done anything that has pictures or ideas?

The JDM linkage is much more simple. Although I'm sure there is a better way to do it with a good custom set-up. The JDM linkage is meant for the throttle cable coming from the passenger side, so you end up with a large bend in the cable in LHD cars.

well for the way are cars are set up your gonna have some sort of something over the covers though you could probly come up with a may to make it look better on a custom cable set up.....like put some thing around it to make it more stylish....i have never seen anything aftermarket thats just a bolt on...what i dont like is all the areas that you could get "slop or slack" in the stock set up... but if its good shape that wouldnt be an issue and cables adjusted improperly would be just as bad....i would be curious to see some different stuff people have done though...

thats a pretty good idea...cant wait to copy cat it if it works haha.....are you gonna use a jdm cable or just find one that works? and i assume no cruise control?

Out of curiosity, what do you think is so wrong with it?

Nothing wrong with it just seems like there could be a cleaner looking way or setup

FFIM and C.O.P ignition would probably solve the problem of all that stuff running over the valve covers:naughty:
