Air fuel gauge hook up

Ok I posted awhile ago tat my mass air flow meter is not right. I adjusted the turn spring in the MAF and I dont know if my car is running lean or rich. I am thinking of buying an air/fuel gauge so I can possibly get t air/fuel mixture back to stock or at least close to it.

If you take the cover off, you adjust it till the car runs smooth. There is only like 3-4 click in which the engine will run smooth.


If you get an afr gauge you need to get a wide band. A narrow band light show a/f gauge is not going to tell you what your afr's are, only what the o2 sensor is outputing and the o2 sensor only says you rich or lean and not by how much.

Also better to figure out the problem without guessing and adjusting things that you dont know how they work.

thank you. All i need to know is where the spring is supposed to be at when the car is ideling. Could some one maby post a pic of there air flow meter at idle. that would help
