okay looks like i didn't do enough research... or any. (bear in mind i know i fked up, but i'm asking for remedies) but I bought a UNIVERSAL AFPR, and was trying to figure out how to put it on my car w/ the "instructions" (thats what its labled but i disagree) and the "universal" flangs don't seem like they go on my car. so THEN i decided to research and am hearing -6AN this and -10AN that... which i don't mind doing BUT... the AFPR i have has BARBED fittings.. basically how can i get this sucker on my car and I would like to do it this weekend so ordering prefabbed kits from driftmotion etc are out of the question. SOOO...

1) what do i need to put this AFPR on my car
2) where would be the best place to get said parts.

I'm running basic upgrades. stock fuel system, and 9psi (conservative atm but sights set higher) of boost.

This was going to be my first suggestion, but since you don't want to hear it. Can you post any pictures of what you've got? Maybe it will help, but I"m sure someone will chime in here in a second. good luck.

You are going to need a few adaptor fittings to make that afpr work, there's no way around it on a 7m or a 1jz. The stock fpr is screwed directly into the fuel rail, and it has straight metric threads with a crush washer or o-ring. The only way it could work is if you left the stock fpr in place, but I don't think putting two fpr's in series would be a good idea.

and that is a pic of the fittings it has. i'm thinking i can back them out and put something else in. looks like a 10mm w/ a standard pitch on it.
