I am looking to buy one and I want to know of others that have used it on their MKIII and the experiances with it.

Do you have the plug and play or did you have to wire it up to their harness?

that being said if you have it tuned right and know what your doing its one of the best standalones on the market and the suport for them is huge.

i agree it is a very nice unit, but remember plug and play doesnt mean...plug it in and thats it...lots of patience and probably some money to have a pro tune it.
Either way i think its great a piece for the price.

I know its not "plug and play" What I ment is do you have to hard wire it in to your harness or does it plug into the factory harness. I think I have seen both ways. I know that I will have to start with a base map and go from there from a tuning standpoint. I want to know what other experiances there are for the mkiii because all the research that I have done is with other vehicles.

It should plug into your factory harness IF you got the correct model year for your car:

87-88
89-92

Both are different and can not be PnP to the other!

and make sure you search arround, certain vendors on here have better prices then ebay
